World RankingBrendan Hansen specializes in the breaststroke and is the fastest ever. He won medals at the Olympics and is a record holder in 100 LCM breaststroke and 400 LCM and SCM medley relay. Brendan won several world championships and was the undefeated NCAA champion in the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke, during his career at the University of Texas.

2006 witnessed the greatest career high for Brendan, when he was voted Athlete of the Year by USA Swimming, after breaking three world records. He went on to set several records and acquire national titles in his career and has been one of the most popular Athletes in the genre.
