Nickname – in south everyone says Brandon instead of Brendan, so he told people to call him “B”. Hence the nickname- “B”.
Ultimate mode of relaxation – Camping.
Hobbies besides swimming – photography, fishing, hunting, going to the lake, camping.
Training Stats – Brendan swims about 12,000 meters/ yards per day which accounts for approximately 4 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Most Influential person – Brendan says his parents “They are the best” and they are the most influential persons in his life. He says that he tries and surrounds himself with positive role models. He further says, “Definitely my parents, but the guys I swim with at Texas and my coaches are also very supportive.”

Charities – Brendan is the spokesperson for the Leukemia Research Foundation and indulges in collection of funds for the organization and also participates in visiting the hospitals.
Brendan has two tattoos- Olympic rings and Longhorn. This is because he considers these two as his major achievements.
